We noticed that children from low-income families were arriving at school on Monday mornings experiencing severe hunger.The Observation that Started it All
Gift of Giving was created to make service more accessible and meaningful for young people in our community. Instead of focusing on one-time donations, we work to build long-term connections between students, families, schools, and local volunteers.
Over the years, our organization has expanded from a small student-led effort into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a chapter at Briar Woods High School. Through supply drives, tutoring initiatives, clothing collections, and community partnerships, Gift of Giving continues to provide practical support while encouraging students to take an active role in helping others.
